Jazz Singer/Songwriter

Liam Budge is a Jazz Singer-Songwriter splitting his time between New York City and Sydney. 

Since releasing his debut jazz album to critical acclaim and a four star review in The Australian, Liam has continued to establish himself as one of Australia's leading vocalists and song-writers.

In 2014 Liam relocated to New York City to begin working on new musical ventures and projects. During this year Liam recorded and played with New York City's finest musicians including Chad Lefkowitz-Brown, Kris Bowers & Brad Williams. Liam also studied under Grammy-Winning Jazz Vocalist Kurt Elling.

Liam has won several awards and recognitions including the Australia Arts Council's ArtStart Scholarship, James Morrison Generations in Jazz Scholarship and two ARTSACT scholarships. 

Now based in Sydney until May 2016, this time will be spent writing and recording a new body of work and collaborating with some of Australia's finest musicians.

Liam's new quintet features Luke Sweeting (keys), Tom Botting (Double Bass), Carl Morgan (Guitar) and Tim Firth (Drums)
